Good luck Lauren!!  I know you can do this.

I'm going to my mom's next week.  I'm sure she is already cooking my old favorites and lots of chocolate things.  No amount of talking to her will stop her.  I remember that she cooked me homemade macaroni and cheese almost every day of my life.  Of course I don't have to eat it.  We at least go and walk and get some exercise so that will help.

When are you scheduled to move?

Not sure when I'm moving. Some time in the next month and a half I think.

You're like me, Mom's got lots of great favorites. I like the idea of getting her to exercise with me. I'll take her to the track in the morning and get a walk out of her. I'm sure she'll appreciate it.

That's the attitude!!!   All of my girls moved back home so they could save for a house and only 1 of them gained weight during that town (son-in-laws all gained....LOL).  The one that gained enjoyed being waited on and the other 2 bought things they liked to eat and on most days cooked for themselves.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

I'm optimistic that it won't be too hard. I've been losing at such a steady pace lately that my motivation is really high. You are very kind to have let them all move back. Great mom.

Great attitude - and stay strong!

I've found my "sugar issues" - aka Reactive Hypoglycemia is a great excuse/reason to NOT eat that kind of stuff.  It can make me sick... had has.  I'm very careful with those types of things now.  I'm finding even a few french fries makes me feel like poop... gassy....  and I find NO ONE argues with the RH excuse.  I just say "oh - I have sugar issues and if I eat this - it WON'T BE PRETTY"..

Silly, but I almost wish I dumped to some degree. I can eat just about anything. Its frustrating. I suppose it's not all bad, when I do want to celebrate with cake at a party or eat a few fries, I'm in okay shape. Maybe I'll just say: that will make me fat and that won't be pretty :)
