When I move home...

When I move back to my parents house temporarily, I will have MANY temptations and pressure to eat my Mom's home cooking. 

But I am standing strong. There are no snacks in my house, so I'll just ignore them at their house. There is a gym down the street from me here, so I'll join a gym there even if on a month to month basis. I eat small portions here that are relatively low carb, I won't be pressured into mashed potatoes and seconds.

I will not regain my regain. In fact I'm going to continue to lose!!

Take that temptation!!!

Yea, that would be tempting - especially if they try to get you to eat the carbs.

Here is a thought.... don't spend too much time there.  Go out and exercise, walk the city, spend lots of time with your friend and brother, go out and see things. 

Dang - my family always makes the carby casseroles that I crave!  Wow, I miss pasta....

The worst is my mother's tuna casserole. I could eat it by the bucket.

You will find a new and renewed strenght, I know.  Remember will power is a muscle that gets stronger with use.  So use it often and it will continue to serve you well.

I just tell people that those things will make me very sick, which is true. I dump on sugar and I would have bad intestinal issues in the past from refined carbs (before my revision. I haven't tested them since and just operate under the assumption that is still true.) no one wants to see you sick (or should). My daughter has seen me when it happened and is very careful to make sure I don't accidentally have any of those things. She still has her food in the house and it doesn't bother me as long as I don't try to have "just a bite". I feel the same about her food as she does about mine, lol. It just doesn't appeal to me.

Good thinking!! I am most concerned about my Mom's chicken cutlets. I suppose I can eat just half of one. And she likes two cookies after dinner with coffee. That'll be tough.
