I told myself I had to start looking for a job this week.  Seriously.  I've had a nice 2 month vacation and now it's time to get it together.

I applied on a job yesterday and they contacted me to start the interview process.  Let's hope this goes some where.  This CFO would be hard to work with, let alone for, but I would learn so much from him.  I hope I get the chance to spend some time letting him yell at me...

 Please send a good vibe, or swing a critter.  After all, this poor man needs someone to abuse.  Let's help him out.

I'm going to start boning up on the tax ramifications of hiring foreign employees - IRS pub 515....  Yea, it's that kind of interview. 

What position are you going for?

Controller.  It's a start up.  They didn't choke when I mentioned what money I was looking for... it has potential. 

I had the phone interview, now I have another phone interview with the CFO tomorrow afternoon.  All day I've been studying...  And I have not eaten everything in sight, or what I could catch, today.  Guess I need to get back to work.

I got called on the other job I applied for also.  That kind of luck is unheard of.   Dang, I should have bought a lotto ticket!!!!

Good luck!!! I am a controller too but usually describe myself as an accountant because not too many people know what a controller is. I know about those types of bosses....'meat grinders', but you learn SO much! You're gonna do great!
