Menus and Miles Friday June 7th
Hi Roz - I'm a Mon-Fri gal myself, but since my computer is set up on my kitchen table i check it often, especially since I typically use it to check my personal email and OH.... I'm on a netbook now... it works.
I went to the grocery store today and found a low carb milk. Had only 3g sugar in it. I didn't have the nerve to buy and try... wonder how it tastes... I was pretty impressed with this store as they had a huge organic section and had a lot of low-carb milk type options. I bought heavy cream... i've found since i've pretty much totally decarbed, I'm not hungry - yea me! only way i made it through the day today without eating much.
My son came into town today so i went to the airport to pick him and his girlfriend up. He calls and says "I'm on the second level"... I'm said "umm there's only 1 level"... well, i went to flint, he was in Detroit... so off I go -another hour plus drive to get there to get him... then the little **** didn't answer his phone!! All turned out well, but because communication between the kids and me wasn't quite stellar, it put them behind over an hour to leave (going north).. oh well... He will spend the better part of the day Monday with me.
My sister is moving into my house until her new place is ready to move into. I have a lot to do this weekend to get the spare room ready. I also need to organize the shed and garage... i brought quite a bit back with me from VA in the trailer and need to find a home for it.

L - nothing
D - taco meat w/lettuce/tomato/sour cream/cheese
S - picked bologna
vits: yes
water: low today... on the road and didn't plan on being gone that long

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.
90+/- pounds lost BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

Lauren - thanks for being concerned, but not necessary. I also ended up indulging in popcorn last night - ugh! so much for low-carbing...
This isn't typical, I usually eat more during the day. I ended up going to the grocery store yesterday and spent $160... initially went for like 6 things LOL. Now I have food in the house....
But the amazing thing is - is I'm listening to my body and I really wasn't hungry. I did resist the temptation to stop and buy a latte because of the milk sugars.
Wait until tomorrow though - I've got an awesome menu planned!!

We only have 1 local store that has an organic section and I don't go there very often but I planned on going today to check out the milk. I'm sure I won't drink it because milk makes me sick but I want it to use in my carb quick recipes. Do you think you can freeze milk? I think I will ask that on the Sat. post.
I don't eat many carbs like bread, pasta, or rice but I am enjoying a little summer fruit and I have noticed that I crave more.
