WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.
Hello LW's!!!! I started answering yesterdays posts and just realized I hadn't started todays.
If you live where we enjoy different seasons are you enjoying shorts and capri weather? I'm only 4'10.5" so my shorts are acceptable every day at work because they cover my knees. I guess that's one blessing for being short. I can't think of many other ones.

LOL I know what you mean that wearing "shorts" is really being pass as capri...I love it. I think I need to shorten my pants I was street cleaning with them yesterday (the bottoms of my pants were right on the street so there for I was street cleaning and dusting for dust bunnies at home) they didn't use to be that long I guess with less belly they get longer.
Good wonderful morning,
Last night I got ambitious and cleaned out one side of my closet and filled 4 leaf bags full of old clothes in sizes 18 to 28. I kept 1 pair of size 28 jeans as a “never again” reminder. I now have 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of black work pants, some capris and an assortment of tops. All in the 14 – 16 size range. It felt so good to get rid of these reminders, that I’m doing the other side of the closet tonight after our HOA meeting. The dresser drawers are next and after that, shoes. I have more energy than I’ve had in years and the Fibro pain is way down.
I’m now bugging Sam to clean out his closet LOL.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day,
Susan

Isn't it crazy how much energy we have? Wait until you get to goal!
I kept the outfit I wore to the hospital the day of surgery. I had to make DH clean his side so there was more room for all of my new clothes....LOL. I can actually get a lot more in my drawers now because my clothes aren't as bulky as they were before. All my of shoes had to be replaced because they fell off of my feet.
I donated all of my "fat" clothes that could be worn to work, interviews, etc. to Suit Yourself. They give them to women who are looking or starting a new job.
Your menu printed all funny....lol It's all over the place. Looks good though!

Hi Roz,
My energy is amazing. I feel like I did 20 years ago before life happened. I wore sweats to the hospital and a caftan home. Both those outfits are gone, gone, gone. I've been donating my work clothes to a similar program run by WEAVE here in Sacramento.
I've been shopping at Walmart, thrift stores and Costco for clothes. I'm addicted to Nordstrom's Rack for shoes and work clothes.
My menu is wonky . Hmmmm... don't know why.

I bet Poppy is so happy!
I need to make some carb quik things but I just can't get into the mood. I don't like to bake unless my kitchen is spotless so that would mean I would have to spend a day cleaning before I can even begin baking. With grandkids going in and out that takes awhile.
Sounds good!
