Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

Besides Protein drinks, coffee,  tea  and alcohol  what is your choice of drink?  I LOVE Diet Snapple!  It's just seems way to good for only having 10 calories per bottle.  My 13 yr. old DGD loves it too so it's not just my taste buds going wacky.

I love crystal light peach tea or lemon, but it's crazy expensive in the UK!! :-(

Anyways, I'm back from sunny Tunisia and ready to get on the wagon (towards the end of my week there croissants became my preferred method for consuming fat, ie butter).  I've not weighed, as it'd be bad and feel down or it'd be OK and I'd think that it's OK to eat croissants - either way, not good.

Having an OK day today though.

I love Ocean Spray Diet Cran-Cherry juice.  It is still way to sweet for me to drink straight so I am currently half juice and half cold tap water but I work in at least two 16 oz'ers a day along with my two plain 16oz waters and my protein drinks (at least two or three a day).

Protein Coffee
Greek Yogurt
Protein Coffee
Taco Salad (guts only)
Snack - Almonds
Dinner- strawberry/banana protein shake

Vitamins are all on schedule

Even after WLS I still can't drink Lemonaide.  I don't get heart burn any more but I get an angry pouch.

Getting back on track as soon as you get home is the first step to success!  Good Job!

I'm not sure what you should expect either.  Just keep making good choices and getting your Protein in.  I hope you are keeping some kind of note page so you can share with others when you get down where you want to be.

Make sure you are eating enough.  I don't lose if I cut back to much.  I think it's better to up your protein than cutting it back.
