Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

The first Monday in June.  Are your summer plans going to make the month go fast or seem like it's flying by.  I'm trying to use Jody's suggestion and enjoy every day and try not to wish the summer away.

I've got to get my nails done after work and the girl isn't going to be happy.  I've left them go way to long because of all the yard work and planting I have been doing.

Hi Roz!  I used to get my nails done every week... and have let them go for a long time.  I'm trying to keep them up myself, but they've gotten so brittle and chip and crack. I know, more protein!  I'm working on that!  Seems I go get them done, and they're chipping within days.  Kinda frustrating... I also used to get the gel manicures religiously, but also think that type of manicure contributed to my weak nails.  I've had others say theirs got weak too after getting the gels for a prolonged period of time.  I'll get them now if I have an occasion coming up... but not just as a normal manicure.

I am going back to MI on Wednesday (I know you asked earlier).  I'll spend a week and come back the following Wednesday.  Then depending on the weather, will take off for vacation on Thurs or Fri.  Yes, the month is going to fly by because of all my June activities, but I'm going to have fun doing them!!

Back on track for protein, food and fluids. Extremely low-carbing it.  Only coffee, tea and water allowed.  No beer or any other type of alcohol allowed.  I WILL see 5 lbs gone by the end of next week.

I moved to a new location 2 weekends ago and my commute was just 20 minutes.   5 minutes of it was sitting at a light.  Such a nice change!

Today:

B - 2 scoop protein coffee (big mug!)

L - leftovers - chicken w/mozzarella and spinach (was much better when I first got it - leftovers) and veal parmegiana.

D - went to the grocery store hungry - lol.... dinner:  chicken thigh and part of a chicken leg; some prosciutto/mozzarella rollup

Vits:  yes - moving them to the bathroom works!  I'm going to do the same in Michigan, at least my routine will stay the same then.

Water:  doing good.

I started getting acrylic nails 15 years ago for my DD's wedding and I haven't gone without them since then.  This is  the longest I've ever gone and without getting  them filled in and they were looking pretty bad but I don't like to wear gloves when I'm messing with my roses because the thorns catch on them so my nails had to suffer. I don't have a clue what my real nails look like.

Sounds like you are doing awesome!

I don't have an iphone and it's probably good that I don't. My girls spend so much time looking at their phones.

Are they cream cheese cookies as good as the chocolate chip?

Menu Sounds Yummy!

I like them.  I like the chocolate chip better, but probably won't fix those again because I can't control them....

The cream cheese cookies are really crumbly.  I think they need to cook longer or I need to find something to hold them together better.

That's an Awesome NSV!!!!!  Congrats!!!!

I worked at a jewelry store for 18 years and we had to wear our jewelry every day. When we closed I took them off and put them away.  When I got to goal I had them sized  but they fill so heavy on my fingers that I rarely wear them.

Sounds Good!
