Talked to surgeon...
My surgeons office is incredible. I was concerned about how much I am able to eat, about what kind of exercises I can do, about whether or not I should be continuing the carafate, and about my stall. She answered all of my questions. I am eating about the amount of food that I should be at my stage. I can do almost any kind of exercise as long as it's not extreme. No lifting and nothing like P90X but I'm allowed to do my ufc trainer and I can do the wii. I do not have to continue the carafate. Thank goodness that stuff is gross. And she said that I have lost more than they expected in the first two weeks because I'm a light weight but that the stall usually resolves itself in a week or two. Today is the week one. Hopefully tomorrow I will wake up with a loss.
You guys have been so wonderful and so supportive. I know everyone goes through this thinking that they have screwed up somehow and are not going to loose any more weight. I just have to remember you all have been there and have survived. So will I.
So glad you got your questions and fears addressed! It's also nice to know you have a great surgeon who will talk with you. Many just won't take the time.
