but you go anyway.  And sure enough, you make the wrong decisions, eat the bad stuff, and suffer with what ever agony your particular WLS provides you for your sins.

I knew I shouldn't go to that dog adoption event.  I knew there were going to be a lot of vendors making all kinds of foods, booths of this and that.  I passed those freshly grilled hot dogs and juicy hamburgers a million times.  The past bowls, the Asian infusion bowls, Indian cuisine booth, and crepe palace... on and on.  And I ended up with a huge bowl of strawberries with real whip cream (with real sugar!).  I would have been better off with the hot dog or hamburger (and tossed the buns).

Whip cream with corn syrup.  It's going to be a long night.  Nothing says love like terrible gas and diarrhea in 95 degree weather.

Ever go some place that has bad, tempting stuff?  You tell yourself you aren't going there cause you know what is going to happen, but you go anyway?

Oh, I am sorry you are having issues.  I hate it when I do something like that.  I'm not sick but surely did eat some stuff today I could do without.  Done now, weigh in tomorrow will be up from the soduim but oh well.  Back on the wagon.

Yeap, been there, done that...and paid for it.

Unfortunately there is little that truly makes me miserable...I seem to have a cast iron gut.

Yep, and not fun. I know it would be hard for me to pass up those lovely berries too.

Those strawberries were glorious. They were in a sugar syrup too.  Ripe and kept cold.... and it was 98 degrees.... and the whip cream was even better than in my memories - it was divine.

All in all, the wages of sin were not that harsh this time.  It seems the further out I get on my surgery, the less reactions I have to really bad carbs.  Course, I'm never going to tell my subconscious that or I will be sucking those carbs down like a shop vac!

Glad to know we all indulge a little - while we are watching the train lights coming from miles away.
