Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

Today is Friday and I have nothing much planned.  I need to relax because I'm still tired from last weekend.  Boredom sometimes means snacking so I'm going to fight that battle all weekend and plan coming out a winner.

Hi Roz.  I know when I'm bored I start prowling for something to eat....  Rest and recuperate.  you deserve it!

I plan on getting a bit of motorcycle riding in this weekend.  I have a bit to do to prepare to go back to Michigan next Wed or Thursday.  I'll only be there a week this time, but only because I will be coming back to go on vacation - WOOHOO!  I've had this planned since January...

Eating today - ehhh...

B - 1 1/2 eggs and 1 piece of wheat toast w/butter

L - 2 pieces of leftover pizza

D - no-peak casserole

Vits:  YES!  I moved them into my bathroom in my medicine cabinet.  I can't miss them now, especially since they're right next to my makeup stuff.  I've been getting tired pretty easy and can tell when I miss them for 2-3 days.  I found my lab order when I moved and need to go get my labs done.  I betcha a reality check will be in order.

Water:  lots of ice tea.  Working from home makes that a lot easier to do.

Where you going on vacation?  I loved the cruise and of course the cheer comps (especially Disney) but now I only have 3 days left until November.

I'm glad you figured out how to get your vitamins in. Now don't forget to pack them for your trips to Michigan and vacation!  I notice the difference after a few days.  I swear my brain is laxed when I'm not taking them.

I hope you got more Protein in than you listed.....

Hi Roz,

Hope you can get some rest this weekend.  I eat when I'm bored too!  DGD's are coming to spend the night tomorrow night and we are having my son-in-law's birthday lunch Sunday so another busy weekend.  Next weekend is going to be a resting weekend or a trip weekend somewhere with DH.

I wish my DH would just pick up and go on a trip.  He says his back hurts if he is in the car very long.

Hi Roz,

When I get the munchies craving, I surf the web for clothes I'll buy when I'm back at my fighting weight.

This weekend will be spent with my guy, staining some outdoor furniture, yard work, and going to the Denver Zoo. I'm really excited to check it out. Animals give me such joy.

I desperately need to food shop, which I'll be doing shortly. Until then the menu is a mystery I think.

Enjoy your day at the Zoo!!!    I've never enjoyed the Zoo but I think I finally figured out why.  I'm always the one standing with the baby or babies in the strollers and they could care less about the animals.  When our girls were younger it was always DH who took the older ones and awed over the animals and now my DH, DD's and SIL's are  carrying  on the tradition.  I can't blame anyone but myself though.  

Good for you going to the gym and not skipping your vitamins!!!

I've had a munchy few days.  Nerves.  My min pin had to have some teeth out and with his heart problems, it was a risk to him.  But he is home and doing fine.  Hopefully without infected teeth, he will stay with me a few more years.  He is 13 now.

I have a shower tomorrow 2.5 hrs away so I will spend 5 hrs in the car, yuck.  But at least I am going with friends so I will have company. Sunday, ponies and Zumba I hope, but we need rain and it is suppose to rain Sunday.

Hope you enjoyed your friends, the trip and the shower.  I love road trips!!  That's the one thing that DH and I disagree on.
