Blast from the past
Good to see some old familiar faces. You may have seen me lurking. I will be making more appearances. Lol
Weight gain was killing me. I was trying sooooo hard. Im not saying I was perfect but I did spend a week in FL without eating anything but fish and veggies and I gained 2 lbs from not exercising. And on that note, I exercise more than 90% of people on earth.
Well, I just found out you could drive a car through my stoma. It's like the Audubon in there! Lol. And I have a hiatal hernia. And I'm EXTREMELY anemic. Just had a transfusion Friday. Wah Wah! Lol again.
Well, all of that is actually empowering! I feel like less of a failure. Sometimes life does happen. We don't all have even playing field all of the time. I'm fixing what I can, rebooting, and making a comeback! Look forward to spending time here!
Hey - welcome back Kat! I have seen you on FB and all the exercising you do - unbelievable you could even gain weight!!
Glad you found out what your problem is. Are you going to have the stoma sewn shut some? Have you felt better since the transfusion?
Again, good to see you here again!

Glad to see you back on line. You were very active when I first joined the board.
Will you get your stoma repaired? I just had a friend that had what sounds like the same problem. They went in to fix her hernia and repaired her stoma. She is doing great and has lost every bit of her regain and is now actually smaller.
Good luck. Hope they can get your anemia under control.
Linda
Hi again Katiekat,
How did you find out about the stoma? I have to have a hernia repaired due to a hematoma that happened during surgery. I am still early out and am learning about this surgery. Did you have to get a scope done or did they find it when they discovered the hernia. Please let me know it is good information to have.
Again Thanks for your response and good luck with your surgery and repair of the stoma. And, after reading about all of your exercise I guess i just better get my butt in gear. LOL Also, did you ever get down to 130 lbs? I am trying for 126 but it may be a stretch. Of course it is still early. :)
Michelle
