Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.
I had my Whopper Jr. last night that I had been craving and I won't do it again. It wasn't as good as I remember and it made me feel crappy afterwards.

Good morning Roz,
In line with my true nature, I have a renewed sense of optimism today. Hoping no one stomps on it. Lol. Just trying to take things one day at a time.
Got on the scale this morning and was down 1.5lb. Very pleased as I have been working my tool hard. I've had the same experience as you at McDonald's. Everything tastes chemically to me now.

35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
Glad things are a little better today!!
It's absolutely beautiful here today. I watered plants this morning before work and I can't believe how beautiful my roses are looking.
Nice to see the scale moving in the right direction. I'm still trying to adjust to my summer weight and I don't like it. I've tried increasing my fluids so my ankles don't swell as much.
Are you keeping track of your Proteins? It looks like you are having a carby day (comfort food)?

Hi Roz,
Did you eat the bun too? I didn't bring my lunch the other day and had a hard time figuring out what to get since I didn't want my go to Wendy's Chili. I looked up some nutrition facts on line at different places and ended up going to a local place and getting a grilled chicken thigh - I just couldn't spend the calories.... It is when I don't bother to look things up that I can really do some damage in a quick amount of time.

I did eat the bun. My carb total has been really low lately so I planned ahead and splurged. I had be busy looking up things on the computer and I didn't get to just sit and enjoy it like I had planned.

Roz - I definitely know what you mean. I get like that too when I'm craving something (usually not good for me) then feel like crap after. I have a couple of dozen cookies in my cubie here at work. I thought about having one then said "it will just make me gassy and ucky feeling"... that's enough to get me to stop (sometimes).
I need to start making myself a good breakfast before I come to work. I find if I eat a good, dense bfast, I can do well without snacking for the better portion of the day before lunch/dinner.
B - Atkins bar
L - leftover cashew chicken
D - no idea...
Vits: no. I've been forgetting them since I moved - out of sight, out of mind. I need to move them into the medicine cabinet by my makeup - I'll definitely see them then!!
Water: filled my big gulp cup - now, just NOT to drink it with my salty chinese!~~

I have never been a breakfast eater. It took a long time for me to even drink a Protein drink for breakfast. I make it right before I leave for work and maybe I take a drink on the way but then I don't fini**** until about an hour after I get to work. I have always liked breakfast food but I would have it for dinner.
It doesn't take much to make me gassy. When I crave chocolate I usually have 4 tiny SF baking chips and it's crazy how that little bit gets my stomach rumbling.

Haley might think it's too hot too. Do horses get hot like people?
DH called me on his lunch and said he went home and turned the air on so he could lay down when he got home after work. I hate him working outside during the winter and it's even worse during the summer.
Sounds Good Price!

poppy definately feels the heat and doesn't like to work when it is too hot. Halley doesn't seem to mind at all and she came in cool and calm where as poppy would have been a sweat ball and needed a bath. They both stay in the barn out of the sun most of the day but that is because of the bugs as much as the heat.
We just closed the windows this week and it was more for DH and allergies than the weather. I would be just as happy with the windows open.
