Anemia....need input

This is helpful.....will increase the amt I take twice a day...had already added the proferrin and started increasing the carboynl.   If I take the chewable iron during the day I get the dry heaves but can take it before bed and do okay so been taking carbonyl pills at lunch (took 100 mg today) and the cewable at night with the heme proferrin.    I don't think supplementation can do much of anything with my iron so low so will see what this month's labs say and then onto (hopefully) a hematologist.  My period hasnt helped things....hope the patch helps!

My levels are almost exactly the same. Instead of playing the games I just told my doc I wanted an infusion and got referred to a hematologist. I got the infusion last week and was a little tired but otherwise ok. I'll know if it worked in a few weeks.
