I didn't realize the honeymoon period for the VSG was so short. They told us a year for the RNY but I didn't feel my body was in maintenance for about 2 years out.

Well I did 30 mins of Shaun T's Insanity this morning (should be 40 but skipped the sections with pressups as I have a bad wrist). I hope I ache a little tomorrow as I'd think I worked a bit (I'm not so in shape that I shouldn't ache).

OH my gosh, Roz. I'm surprised you can move. Moving mulch is horrible work. I have done it many times, yes, truckloads, but I pay kids to do it now. Hope you feel better soon but I imagine it is going to get worse before it gets better.

Not sure exactly what your preop diet is suppose to be but the objective ISN'T starving. No wonder you don't feel good. You ned more than that. Our's was strict but we still had 5 optifast shakes a day and one small food meal. You need at least 900-1200 calories and 60g of protein at least. Nothing but the protein has anything in it that will help you. I'm not saying go against what your Dr tells you but that seems crazy at best.
