Very interesting indeed. I get about 75g of both carbs and protein each day. I should probably get more protein, but it is extraordinarily hard given the extremely tight calorie restrictions I've imposed on myself. I'll think it through though.

Interesting.  I get more protein and less carbs than they recommend on most days.  I don't feel like the lack of carbs affects my brain function or energy level.  But it is reassuring to know that I am in the basic range for protein and on those days when my carbs go up, it isn't the end of the world.

Very interesting article.  I do feel better with carbs over 50 up to 80 and protein over 70, have  been trying to get a couple small fruit and a couple veggie servings daily.  but still staying away from refined carbs.  Weight is still coming off.

I did read the article for the 2nd link.  Interesting... and makes sense.

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?
