My Mom loves whole  pickled beets.  I just bought her 3 jars. Are you moving closer to Gina?

The yogurt has 8 or 9 carbs, 7 sugars, and 12 protein. It's a large container too.

Breakfast:                  Premier Chocolate Protein Shake – 30gms

Protein Drink:           16.9oz water w/ Special K Protein mix Pink Lemonade – 5gms

Snack:                        2oz low fat organic Greek yogurt

Protein Drink:           16.9oz water w/ Special K Protein mix Pink Lemonade – 5gms

Lunch:                       3.5oz Chicken breast – 30gms

                                    1oz Quinoa Tabouli (homemade)

Protein Drink:           16.9oz water w/ Special K Protein mix Pink Lemonade – 5gms

Protein Drink:           16.9oz water w/ Special K Protein mix Pink Lemonade – 5gms

Dinner:                       3oz Ground Turkey – 23gms

                                    1oz Red Quinoa cooked in low fat chicken broth

                                    1oz Canned Green Beans

Protein Drink:           16.9oz water w/ Special K Protein mix Pink Lemonade – 5gms

Please don't take offense to my next comment.  Also I won't mention it again.  We all have to do what we feel works for us.

I don't know about the Special K mix.  Five drinks is 150 calories and only 25g of protein (the protein is listed 2nd on the list).  I think you would be better off just using crystal light or some other type of zero calorie flavoring.  My favorite is MIO because it doesn't spill in my lunch bag and I like that I can put a certain number of drops in rather than a packet of powder.

Also I'm not sure I have the right Premier Shakes you use but 160 calories is really high for a Protein shake. These shakes are made up of milk protein etc. You should try to drink a protein drink are all Whey Protein.

All of your Protein drinks have carbs too.  Basically you aren't getting all of the Protein that you think you are plus you are adding carbs.

A lot of us use Syntrax.  100 calories, 0 carbs, 0 fats, 0 sugar, lactose/gluten free, 24 grams of Whey Protein (good Protein)

Hi Roz,

No offense taken.

I did some research on Syntax Nectars.. I will switch to those soon.  I just bought 3 cases of the Special K!  ARGH.  I tried different drink mixes, had a horrid time keeping them down.  I will try MIO and see how that works.

I went with the Premier simply because I could keep it down after surgery.  Even then, it takes me a good 2 hours to drink 11oz.

I've been fighting vomiting ever since my surgery (I ended back in the hospital for a week at 2 months out because of the vomiting) so I've been hesitant about trying new things.

Things I could drink before surgery now come back up. 

I have unflavored unjury powder that I add to cottage cheese and yogurt. 

Any advice is helpful

Early out I had a terrible time with flavors. The flavor that my stomach handled the best was mango or peach. Cherry, grape, and orange made me really sick.  The powdered Mango Peach from South Beach Diet worked really well.  It had a really mild taste.

Hi there Roz,

Today is quiet. Tonight I've got my brother in law's surprise party at a local restaurant. Should be fun. Not sure what it'll do to my calorie count though. Just planning to stay clear of the carbs and focus on protein first and then veggies. I WILL NOT have dessert except maybe a cup of coffee. I realize after years of internal strife that I'm not entitled to a dessert. I'm fat and it won't help. Lol.

B: Protein bar and coffee
L: Turkey and cheese on a deli flat
D: Restaurant - protein and veggies
S: Tea/coffee, maybe a SF fudge pop

187 on the scale today!! Moving in the right direction,

Another beautiful day in Pennsylvania.  Glad my air conditioner in my bedroom works.  Going shortly to grandson's pre school graduation.  He is such a cutie.

B egg, cheddar cheese, slice ham, 4 cherries

S hardboiled egg, baby bell

L porkchop, 1/2 banana

S cottage cheese, walnuts

D probably tuna and couscous salad

No totals for sure but made my protein and fluid
