Syntrax Tea
I finally got some syntrax tea! Excited after seeing so many people here log it in their daily diaries.
Anyone have tips on how to make it best? Anything to avoid? Protein powders can be so finicky...
Thanks in advance!

I use my 20oz blender bottle BUT not the ball. If you shake lemon tea it foams like crazy. I put a stick of crystal light kind of stuff, usually peach mango or peach mango green tea and a 1/2 scoop of powder and stir with a spoon in about 8 oz of water. Then add ice and fill with water, slowly to not get foam. I am to the point I don't need a whole scoop of protein these days but you can certainly add a whole scoop if you aren't there yet. I get over 150gm a day with my normal routine.

I love my Lemon Tea!! I can drink mine plain if I had lots of ice but it is mild enough that you can add any flavor that you want to. The MIO flavorings (or similar) are awesome because they don't spill in your purse and you can determine how strong you want it.
I use just enough water to cover the SS ball in my mixer cup, 1 scoop of protein, shake. The foam doesn't bother me at all. I don't even notice it.
If you like mint/chocolate you should try the Matrix (also made my Syntrax) Mint Cookie....YUM! That's what I have for breakfast every morning. It is very refreshing.

Experiment with what you are mixing with the protein: water, soy milk, milk, hemp milk, etc.
Good luck!

It will be different after surgery. Now your body is used to solid food and all the liquid is strange to it. Your taste will change too. I did get tired of all the sweet stuff. Injury chicken soup was a life saver. I was on Optifast for 4 weeks with 1 small food meal a day. I could have one of their soups for one meal a day and that was great. You can also mix unflavored protein with V8 if you need a break from sweet.
You can do it. It will only be another 11 days. And if you need to eat something, it surely isn't going to kill you. Just stick with the plan the last few days. When you look at all the pre-op diets that different drs use, you know there is no RIGHT answer. Just do your best and be sensible.

I mix mine with about 1/2 of a 20 ounce bottle of water and a stick of Crystal Light Lemon Tea in a 20 ounce blender bottle like Price said without the ball. Then I add crushed ice to it and then as much of the remaining water bottle as I can get to fill the blender bottle. I can usually get the whole 20 ounces of water in there if I don't add too much ice.
I also get the Route 44 Unsweetened Tea from Sonic and add 4 Sweet & Low to it. I pour some of the tea in a blender bottle and a scoop of the Lemon Tea Protein and mix it well, pour it back into my Sonic cup.
I love my Lemon Tea!!
