Menus and Miles Tuesday May 21st
It is so hard to imagine. I thank God I don't live in one of those areas that have such distructive weather. My prayers are with them.
I rode Poppy this morning for the first time in months since I have been trying to get Halley ready to compete. It was good. I want to get the rest of the garden finished today and still have payroll to do. Busy day.

Need to make some more carbquick cheddar rolls and I want to try the cinnamon rolls too.

AWE....poor Poppy. Has someone else been riding him? We will probably plant our little garden next weekend. I got my roses cleaned up and hopefully we can mulch and plant our other flowers this weekend. DH has been having trouble with his arthritis and I can't do it myself so it will be on hold until he is able.
I really like the cinnamon rolls. Just don't over cook them because the dry out really fast. I must have done something wrong with the cheddar rolls because I didn't care for them. I'm going to give them another try.
Sounds Good!

I have had a young lady riding her some but I think she was happy to be the star for today. Just finished the garden. Planted the beans, asperagus beans and beets. That should be it. Flower pots are done.
I liked the cheddar rolls best toasted with cheese. It made a good quick breakfast that I could carry on the road.

Toasted...that sounds good. I'm definitely going to give them another try. I'm not a very good baker and sometimes I have to practice a few times before I get it right. I'm just about out of carbquick so I'm going to have order some soon.

My memory isn't as good as it use to be. Did you have your surgery yet? It might be helpful if you put your surgery type and date on your signature.

I don't much about the VSG but I do know that with the RNY we can gain after surgery on fruit. You might want to replace some of the fruit with a protein snack. Fruit has a lot of carbs and sugar. (Just a suggestion)
