Found a weight loss surgery club on Meetup.com in Denver. Only a few members so far, but it sounds good to me. This is the only WLS club that exists in Denver.
So anyone in Denver and interested, I'd be happy to send you the details.

Now that is a really good idea. I never thought to look for that on Meetup. Great idea.
I do have a support group hosted by a local DS surgeon (not my surgeon). It's good, but I would really like to meet more DS people. Meetup is a good way to source out people traveling the same road as myself.
Thanks for posting this. If nothing else, I can start a DS group in my area on Meetup.

Agreed Jodi. The meeting I've got on Saturday is just a few folks, but that is enough for me to start. For our first meeting, we are walking and talking around a nearby park. Should be fun.

That is great! I have been talking with a newbie (friend at work) and it so reminds me of people who helped me along the way on this journey.....many people I never even met. I had several who were just wonderful to me pre-surgery and I so enjoy talking to others who know what having WLS is REALLY like. Hope the meet up goes great...
