Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period.

 

Just got my hair done...yippee!!!   No more gray....at least for a couple of weeks....lol   We are having awesome weather today.  Sounds like a perfect day to take a walk!!   Are you doing anything exciting today and healthy today?

Hey Roz, had an OK day today as I saw the optician and I'm going to start using some new daily Ciba Vision lenses (I've been having problems on an off for about a year with several other lenses I've tried ).

My parents are coming to stay next weekened so we did some cleaning (shoulda done a lot more, but it's a start).  I also got a new 3 tog duvet as I was getting too hot and bothered in my current one so I think I'm gonna sleep nicely with my new bedding tonight ;-)

Pushing the fat a bit today as I think the iron and the protein shakes have got me stopped up a bit if you know what I mean!!

What surgery are you having?  Your meals look very good - and your calories and carbs are low, and protein looks good.

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so

Let's see... what have I eaten today... let's say more than I should.  Helped at my sisters'  biggest fundraiser for her nonprofit.  The day was gorgeous but the turnout was weak.  Not sure why.  

B - BK sausage croisanwich meal..I ate the potatoes first then 1/2 of the croisannwich.  My sugar fell after that.. WTH???

L - 1/2 BLT on wheat and a  pickle

D - a coney dog.  I ate 1/2 the bun and worried about my sugar but it was ok

vits:  nope :(

fluids - beer and ice tea and water.

Posting late again.  Busy day. Weekends are more of a struggle.  During the week I am able to be more organized due to being at work and packing all my food the night before.  Was low on protein so had to supplement with a shake. Barely made my liquids.  Was outside all day with dh and 3 year old grandson doing gardening and yardwork.

 

B eggs n oatmeal with raisins and peanut butter

L small chef salad leftover from restauraunt with ranch

S apple and almond butter

D country ribs, tiny salad

S fuzzy navel  shake in almond milk
