boosting your metabolism
Read an article on this issue this morning. Thought I would pass this along. I've never heard of these before.
My problem would be staying on the treadmill after smelling this...
Sniff Peppermint or Citrus
Citrus and peppermint (or anything else with that aroma) stimulate the nervous system which in turn ups your metabolism, says Hirsch. Apparently, smelling buttered popcorn and strawberries while exercising will help you burn more calories too. Not sure how to accomplish that while on the treadmill but if you figure it out, your metabolism will be through the roof! |

Hmmm... not sure how that works unless it's motivation to get your exercise done so you can eat it!! :)

Interesting. I wonder if peppermint horse treats would work? I have lots of those, usually in my pocket.
