Hoop Number 2 is jumped
hello all,
Yesterday I had my dietician appointment. She was very sweet and it went well. My doctor's practice requires a psych visit (done), a dietician visit (or two, she waived because I'm revision) and six months of weight management from my GPs office for insurance. Well, the dietitian offered to count as month five and do a follow up for month six which is GREAT because my GP is hard to see and my last appt. with her was scheduled for the very end of June. Since I REALLY want to have the surgery in early July (my only slow month at work, so the time I can really concentrate on recovery and time off), I realized I needed to get a date set and start the liquid diet phase in mid-June. Fingers crossed, but it looks like now I'm on schedule to do this!
Every time I talk to one the people on the chain leading to getting surgery I feel very encouraged that I'm doing the right thing. Here's hoping I will get a July date soon!
Sounds like you're on your way and it's going to be a positive experience! Congratulations!
