What motivates you?

Lately I've been motivated by the reality of two things:

A) Even though you've bounced back, you've lost 15lbs back and can do the rest

B) You've done this before. You lost 80% of your excess weight and glimpsed at a number you'd be comfortable staying at

I guess for me it's about recognizing the accomplishments I have under my belt. So that when I see a yucky number on the scale, I know its part of a larger story, a winning story.

Excellent point.  And getting any bounce back weight off is monumental!

I'm going to have to focus more on the weight I've lost than on the weight I can't seem to get off.  What I've done so far was totally beyond my dreams before my surgery - I need to rejoice in that win more often.

I'm motivated my my exercise and how it is enabling me to handle the stress lately with all the changes.  There have been times I have thought I wasn't going to Zumba or whatever and have decided I had to in order to keep the anxiety at bay.  I think at this point it is exercise or take medication and exercise is winning.

A runner's high...  Good for you.  That is very healthy.  Exercise is great for keeping the crazies at bay.

That's great Price. We all need a stress reliever.
