Good morning. Any Trekkies? Guess who's going to the movie this morning.

Son#1 is taking hubby and me to the IMAX version this morning. It's the one that you have to wear those funky glasses to see the special effects.    Anyway, I fully intend to enjoy some popcorn but wishing I could sneak a protein shake or diet cranberry juice in with me. Trust me, I do not need extra bubbles in my system, nor do I want to pay $5 for the privilege.

What are your plans for the day? Anyone spending time in the garden? I so want to do that. It will be container gardening at best but have to figure out a way to keep the deer, birds and squirrels off my plants.

Y'all have a great weekend!

Good morning ladies,

Gina, I am in fact gardening today. It'll be sunny and 85 degrees in Denver today. I'm not actually gardening for me as I'm gardening for my guy. We did a lot of planter planting already. We just need to get the area boarding the front patio and a little bit in the back yard. I've recruited his 7 year old daughter to help. Should be fun.

Have a great Saturday everyone. And Gina, you'll have to let us know what you think of the movie!!!

Have fun at the movie...I agree...a BIG purse is your best friend.

We both want to see the movie but NOT on a weekend. So we will wait til it's been out a few weeks then go during the week. (There are advantages to being retired).

We made a day trip to Tryon yesterday...made an offer on a house!

I can't wait to hear what you thought of the movie.  I love Star Trek.  I always take a back pack into the theatre.  They have never checked my back pack, and I put all my food and drinks in there.  Including my wallet.

I will be hauling gravel.  I bought a propane tank (No more price gouging!) and it's being delivered today.

Have a GREAT time at the movie!!   I've never been a Star Trek fan but I'm super happy you getting to do something that makes you happy!!!  I take my Protein cup every where I go! I even started taking into church with me.

I trimmed all my rose bushes last night and they are looking really good this year.  I'm expecting some beautiful ones.  DH got me a rose of sharon tree so I need to read up on it so I can find the perfect spot for it.  We don't do our mulching until Memorial day weekend so the rest of my plants will  be arranged after that.

Went to DGD's ball game,  got my hair cut and colored, have to go and buy a bike for DGD's birthday, buy a new grill and make food for DGS party tomorrow.    I'm hoping to fit a walk in sometime this evening.

Hope you enjoyed the movie Gina.  DH will not ever go to the movies.  The last time he went with me was when we were dating 35+ years ago!!

We had DGD#1's dance recital today then went and had some baby time!  He is so cute and sweet.  I was going to do some cooking today, but we just got home and I'm about ready for bed.  I guess I'll cook tomorrow. We went to the grocery store so I have everything I need for cooking tomorrow afternoon.

I hope you enjoyed the movie Gina - I've been a Star Trek fan off and on, but mostly off.  And only on TV.

Spent the day helping my sister with a fundraiser for her organization.  Beautiful weather here in MI.  78, sunny and a sligh breeze... and I got me some Vit D out of it!! :)

heading back to Va tomorrow.  Not really looking forward to it, but a necessity.  I have a lot to do here.  Mostly got the Durango packed up, but I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
