Thank you ladies
I can't tell you how much your messages today meant to me. You are like a group of best friends, albeit spread across the US and UK :). I couldn't be making headway like I am without your knowledge, inspiration, and friendship.
I hope to make it to my lowest post surgery weight of 170. Some might say I should shoot for 135, the number my surgeon chose. But that number doesn't work for me. I really liked the way my body felt at 170. I wasn't bikini worthy, but was still pretty hot. last time this year I weighed 205. I made quite a bit of headway on my own. But the rest goes to all of you. So that's it...19 pounds to go.

Thanks Maria,
I didn't always have this attitude. I felt defeated before, especially at my highest regain of 205. Something changed when I moved to Denver. A new attitude surfaced. Just riding that attitude as long as possible.

With your determination and drive - nothing will hold you down long. Fifty percent of the battle is attitude and fortitude. As long as you have that, nothing will hold you down long.
I might have to come through the gate to borrow a cup of fortitude now and then.... Leave the back door unlocked, OK?
