Our grandson turns 5 today and he woke up thinking he was going to start kindergarten this morning. It took some explaining on DD#3's part to get him to understand. In a few years he will be begging to stay home from school on his birthday. He also can't wait to lose a tooth and he doesn't feel any taller. He is such a hoot!
My Matrix Mint Cookie is suppose to come today. I just ordered it 2 days ago so I'm super happy. I love my Lemon Tea but not for breakfast.

Hi Roz! Happy birthday to your Grandson! Too cute about kindergarten...
Not sure what's on my eat plate today. I'm trying to clean my fridge out in anticipation of returning to VA on Sunday. I don't like leaving much in it in case it goes bad.
Last night I ended up going out to dinner with the kids. I rarely eat hamburgs but one sounded good, so I had an open faced BBQ Bacon burger - it was really good. A few fries, got cold quick (which is good)... plus with them being a simple carb I have to be careful with my blood sugar (and a beer of course).
I have meetings all afternoon - boo! My daughter wants me to go look at a house with her at 3. I said yes, until a meeting invite rolled in this morning. One I can't blow off either...
We ended up looking at the house at 11:30 - which worked out well for my schedule. She liked it but her hubby didn't. It would need some work.
I just want to munch. I'm not hungry, but I'm not full. I'm trying to keep it under control with drinking my tea. I know if I eat something carby I'll get gassy and feel bad.
B - protein coffee (10'ish again) ok - didn't have this. My protein "curdled" - yuk!
S - a banana
L - smart Ones meal and a peach
D - 3 oz steak and lobster tail
Vits:will do
Water: Making my own low-sugar cranberry tea - we'll see how it turns out

Can your DD reschedule? I loved going house hunting with DD and SIL. It's amazing how much houses cost and they aren't even nice. At first I TRIED to keep my opinions to myself but then I realized they needed some guidance or they weren't going to be happy and they would be house hunting again in a few years. There's not much to choose from in our area. Most of the houses are older. DH and I were so glad they took our advice and decided to build instead. Their house is beautiful and they are so happy.
DH always splits one his double cheeseburgers with me. I never liked cheese on my burgers before WLS. It is so strange how are tastes change.
I need to buy some flavored Syntrax to mix in yogurt etc. Lemon Tea doesn't really have much of a taste. I suppose I could mix my Mint Cookie.
Sounds Good Jody!

Hi Roz, thanks for the early post. That's so cute about your grandson.
I had a fairly OK day today as I had some gas last night so I really need to 'behave'. A lot of you guys dump, well it's gas for me I'm afraid - just as well really as who knows where I'd be otherwise.

How many hours different are we? It is 2:41 pm here.
I get terrible gas from chocolate and some carbs. I dump on sugar, sugar alcohols, and fat.
Sounds Awesome!

Hi Roz,
Your DGS sounds adorable. My guy is uncle to an adorable 2 year old. He is just too funny. Recently he saw a bucket with some water in it. He stripped down to his diaper and stuck both feet inside. Hilarious.
Today I've accomplished only one thing - writing a new type of resume for firm here in Denver. I'm hopeful that things turn out well.
Not sure about dinner, but here's the rest. Trying the "no snacking" thing out.
B: Tea, protein bar
L: 1/2 of a cheeseburger from last night
D: not sure. if my guy doesn't come over, it'll be turkey and cheese roll ups
S: Maybe a yogurt tonight
And...........I went to the gym this morning :)
