Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!

Did I mention my Microwave quit working?  I didn't realize how much I used it for defrosting, quick side dishes,  popcorn, hot tea etc.   I ran to Walmart and bought a cheap one until I can figure out what kind I really want.

I never realized I used my microwave that much.  It saves so much cooking and cleanup time.

My hair needs colored and cut too but DD#3 is doing hair tomorrow and I have to work. Maybe I can quilt her into doing it Saturday since it's Mother's Day weekend.

Is the lasagna recipe on the box?

Sounds Good!

Here is the link to the recipe.  The stats that they show on the recipe do not match my stats in MyFitnessPal.  I made 8 servings out of it.  Maybe they had less servings or used different brands of things than I did.  I'm not usually off by that much.

Hi Roz,

I couldn't do without a microwave for long either. Mainly for tea. I don't even own a kettle.

B: Protein bar, tea
L: Turkey cheese roll ups
D: Out with my sister, planning on limiting my portion of what will inevitably be a rich meal
S: Two protein shakes, arcti****

Happy Thursday all.

My boss (a guy) has 2 microwaves in his kitchen.  I guess I'm not the only one who "cheats" at cooking.

Sounds Good!

Yep, we were without a microwave for a couple of days about a week ago... had to do scrambled eggs on the stove!! :-S  The old fashioned way did taste nice though (hmm... may do that this weekend as you've got me reminiscing).

I was almost beside myself hungry today - dunno what's up.  Protein high, carbs lowish... I hope it's just a one off.

I drank plenty of water too (and a little decaff tea).

I am looking forward to figuring out what all I can do in it.  Mine belonged to my mother in law and she passed away a long time ago.  It was big and bulky and didn't have much cooking power.

I have hungry days occasionally.  You just have to grab healthy and hope tomorrow is a better day.

With a Protein total like that I don't think you have to worry.

We'll see.  I don't seem to be living the DS dream once in the healthy range.  As ever I lost relatively easily (I was cautious of course - but didn't seem to struggle too much).  Maintaining a healthy BMI seems to be a struggle for me as it was when I've done other diets in the past.  Maybe I'm having a small wobble or maybe it's the start of regain, I really don't know but I feel like I've been here before which is why I went for the big gun of the DS.

I'm still positive and trying to nip this thing in the bud... TGINF!! ;-)
