WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!

Do you have a busy day planned?  Taking my Mom for a perm and then Mother's Day Shopping.  Why do I leave things go until the last minute!!!!    I will catch up with you all later.....have a Wonderful Saturday!!!

We had Mother's day on March 10th this side of the pond - funny how we don't coincide on such days.

I went to the opticians today (all good on that front) and DH had lunch in Starbucks while I was having my sight test.  I ended up having the emergency protein bar I had in my bag for lunch... this whole protein shake and bar business is so convenient.  The novelty of fried eggs, cheese, nuts etc is wearing off so this makes a nice change! ;-)

I think the shakes make me a little gassy so I try and not have too many and I try to space them out so I get the best protein bang for my buck.

B Protein shake 50
S Protein bar 30
L Protein bar 50
S Protein shake 50
D Pork escalope 32
S PB Cookie 10

Protein: 222
F 80+
V All in (inc 6 batches of calcium) nightime strontium & iron pending (separately of course)
