Things I'm enjoying & Things I'm looking forward to...
I thought it could be a fun post for people to list things they are enjoying now in their WLS journey and what they are still looking forward to. I'll start!
Things I'm enjoying...
- Execising more easily
- Looking forward to working out
- seeing things start to appear: collarbone, jawline, leg muscles
- Cute clothes given to me by other friends I'm make through my WLS support group
- How less puffy my face is (I think it was quitting diet coke that helped)
- More energy
Things I'm looking forward to...
- When I'm free of the second chin
- Getting to goal weight and buying clothes
- My wedding!
- Running when I drop some more and are not in danger or a stress fracture
- Open water swim races
- mini-triathalons
- Making active friends
- Feeling comfortable sleeveless
- Working out with my dad when he visit
- Starting a family

When my hair grew back, it was curly. Never in 62 year have a had a natural curl.

Things I'm enjoying...
Flying coach (although I always prefer first class)
Going to the movies
Getting out of my car
Roller coasters
Not being stared at, at the gym
Wearing a swimsuit (yes, even at 190 lbs.)
Accepting myself for all that I am (at least most of the time)
Believe it or not, I like the expectations that friends and family have that I won't get dessert, and if I do, will only take a bite
Looking forward to (second round this time)...
Wearing cute work out clothes
Getting married (with my bf I expect) wearing a cute outfit
Lower sizes
Discipline
Exercising without my knees hurting
Climbing stairs without losing breath

35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
