nervous about everything
How on earth do you have a date and not a medical letter??? That seems very strange but I know different insurance companies are different about what they do.
Anyway, do your part and be sure you know everything that you can learn about the process. Then put it in the hands of a higher power.
Learn about the surgery and what you have to do before and after. This is a major life committment. Be ready.
Stick around here and read. There is lots of good information. Go to support groups if there is one in your area. That is a great place to learn too.
Hope it all works out in your favor.

I looked at you profile, at a BMI of 36 for most insurances you will have to have co morbidities. I dont know anything about medicaid but my insurance required BMI above 40 if you don't have other medical problems. Read you coverage document or call medicaid for details. I didn't have to have a psych test, is it required by your insurance or your surgeon? Chin up and do your research. Your surgeon should know some about medicaid requirements too I hope.
