Out running around all day made a bad choice of a Starbucks venti soy latte  220 calories!!!!!!  also got caffeinated by mistake, which I am not allowed.   Next time skim milk decaf latte, though I do love soy.

Had awesome 3 month checkup with bariatrician, she loved the plan i have come up with for myself.  Now I can quit fretting.  I am a terrible "overthinker" and have been worrying about this.  She also gave me permission to go as low as i want on carbs. though I don't feel well when extremely low.

B reduced fat mozzarella stick, deli turkey

S  the aforementioned soy latte

S greek yogurt

L veggie salad with marinated tofu

S almonds

D 3 frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, inside of a stuffed shell, 2 green beans, 2 pieces mandarin orange

Fluids yes

protein yes

exercise no (early dr appt 2 1/2 hrs away)

Congrats on the Good Drs. visit!!!

You aren't allowed soy?  I get sick on soy and milk but I thought soy was the better of the two.

Low "bad" carbs is good idea if you are talking about bread, pasta, and starch.   Healthy carbs like beans, vegetables and fruits are make for a balanced menu.

How many Proteins are you getting in during the day?  It's hard for me to figure when you don't do Protein drinks.

i am allowed soy, but ithink the skim would be about 1/2 the calories.   Ithink the soy they use at starbucks in sweetened.

I'll start putting in my protein numbers.

No need to put in the numbers if you are sure you are getting in enough.  Do you absorb more with the VSG than I do with the RNY?

Sweetened Soy...WOW.

She said she was feeling a lot better today. I think her and the boys slept most of the day.  They were all worn out.  Sunday the cheer season ended and this evening try-outs started for the new season.  Try-outs last for 3 weeks and then cheer starts again.  I don't know how she keeps up to it all.

It seems like you are eating a lot of carbs but you aren't but even the carbquick scares the crap out of me!  I'm so afraid of getting hooked on them again.

Lots of variety!

Late posting today Gina?  How is Son#2 doing?

I wish I had found a support group early out.  The Surgeons office that did my gall bladder wanted me to join theres but I just can't bring myself to do it.  Just by talking to a few people that had him do their surgery I know we don't think the same way and I know I would just get irritated.  I remember how it was at WW years ago when you didn't have much to lose and everyone thought your opinion didn't count.  If I walked in there now they would not think of me as a fat person who has gone through what they have.
