Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!

DD#3 didn't want to stop at the neighbors and get looked at.  She was too anxious to get home so the boys could see their new swing set. What she has doesn't look like shingles to me.  She has 2 swollen lumps behind her ear and she said they shrink and swell.  She has one spot on her scalp that might be a shingle...but one spot....could it be?  She has some other sores on her scalp too but she said she thinks it from sunburn.  Could the Med Express Dr. be wrong?  I'm going to insist she goes to her PCP for a check-up.

She's is taking an anti-biotic for 7 days. She has finally quit taking the pain meds and using Advil instead.  They were making her really emotional and tired.

Sounds Good Price!

It's a cool 70 degrees - great working in the yard weather.  It's just nice enough to bring out the misquitos in full force...  Dang.

B:  G yogurt with blueberries, 1 scoop of unflavored protein

L:  chicken something

D:  EN's Hunk of Critter - bovine flavor

I was prepping bovine flavored critter in the crockpot and stuffing the sweet onions in - and I burned my fingers on the crockpot really bad.  Man, that thing gets really hot on the outside.

Bovine is beef.  I put a pot roast of some sort in the crockpot, some seasonings (lots), some liquid smoke, some wester, and as much sweet onions as I could cram in with the roast.  No water, no juices.  The roast and onions make the sauce.  Oh yea, dump in lots of butter.  (I love the DS.)

Cook till you are sure it is really done.  I don't like mine shredable... but I do cut half of it off and remove from the crockpot, then cook the other half to shredable stage.

People rave about this recipe.  This is my first time trying it.
