Yeah, the first couple of weeks is miserable but after that it's not too bad. Last time I was in the hospital for 3 days and then moved to a rehab center for 10 days. Worst part was how my head felt...yucky and itchy, they would only wash my hair every 4 days and I wa**** ONCE a day! First thing I did when I got home was get in the shower and have dh wa**** for me.
