Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!

DD#3 said she was much better today.  She has one bad spot on her head and a bad head ache but she isn't sure the bumps on her neck are shingles.  She said they feel and  like swollen lymphs that swell and go flat.  Our neighbor his an emergency room Dr. and he is going to look at her before we take her home.

Hi Roz,

I'm glad to hear that DD#3 is feeling better and is going to get a medical check out.

Not much going on here. Just waiting for someone to give me a job!  I ran out of frozen strawberries to put in my shakes. I had a berry mix in the house so I tried it...full of gross berry seeds. devil

B: tea, protein bar
L: cheeseburger (small, small, small)
D: Turkey cheese roll ups
S: 2 shakes, tea

Can you tell me exactly how you make your shakes with frozen strawberries?  I have never been success at making shakes.  That sounds really refreshing for summer.

I use 8oz of water and 1 scoop of protein powder and blend it in the blender. Then I add 1 cup of frozen strawberries and blend it. Finally I add 9 ice cubes and blender. Depending on the quality of your blender, you may need to use your spoon (in between blending) to get it fully blended.

I'm so glad you use water.  I can't drink milk.  What flavor Protein do you use?  I have a bullet or I can use my big blender.

I'm not good with milk either. I use chocolate powder, but you can hardly taste it with all those strawberries.

You could definitely use the bullet, you'll just have to cut the number of strawberries. I like using a lot to get to glasses worth.

Thanks for all the welcoming replies to my earlier posts.

Silly me, ran out of my Pepcid (PPI) then I couldn't figure out why I was having heartburn,  I was like" why is my chest uncomfortable, wh.y have I felt "full" for the last 2 days.'  duh  Can't see the forest for the trees.  Went and picked it up on the way home from work
