WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!
My DD#3 called me several times during the night crying. Having shingles, being on Percocet and being away from home with her 2 little ones is not a good combination. Fortunately she only has 2 teams competing this weekend and a couple of the parents are helping her out. I told her to stay off the internet. Reading about the shingles has her completed panicked. She is so afraid her little one is going to get it because he hasn't been vaccinated yet. The side of her face is tingling but she said the spots on her neck seem to be shrinking but she is covered under her hair on the side.
We are going to start putting grandson's swing set together today. I can't wait to see their faces when they come home.

Breakfast hardboiled egg with cheese and slice turkey bacon
snack low fat ricotta with walnuts.
Lunch 2 oz mahi mahi and 2 baby carrots
snacks 2/3 cup homemade lentil soup
dinner:1/3 cup fajita chicken and veggies (restauraunt)
water 9 oz
exercise over slept and didn't
Vitamins yes
I have just eliminated my evening snack---cutting down to 2 snacks per day and nothing after dinner as night eating is a BAD trigger for me pre surgery.
Cleaning inside all morning, out side after lunch for yard work.

Your Menu sounds healthy. Since you aren't drinking Protein drinks do you have any idea of how many Proteins you are getting in?
Smart adjusting your menu when you know you have triggers to set you off.

When you start on the Protein Drinks think of them as food, Some get in the bad habit of drinking them close to or with a meal which pushes the food through to fast. Don't talk yourself out of thinking you aren't full and then wanting another snack. Your body will adjust after awhile.

The pain meds are making her so sick. Between the competitions yesterday she had to lay down on the cement floor with a cold towel on her head.
I need to try the pork rinds. I use to like them when I was growing up.
