half and half
I love half n half and whipping cream in coffee.but I have to avoid the sugar in the milk cause it stops my weight loss cold.
I have been using : So delicious Dairy Free original coconut milk creamer. I find it in the natural/organic dairy case of most any large chain grocery. The stats are;
for 1 tablespoon: Cals 10
Fat 0
carbs 7
Fiber 0
Sugar 1
protein 1
it makes the coffee very creamy and doesn't taste like coconut at All,just creamy. They have a french vanilla flavor but it has more sugar so I stick with the original.

I love my protein coffee but if I want a plain coffee with cream, I hate skim milk, so love half and half.
Thanks Gina about the reminder of heavy cream, I used to love that preop when I was doing atkins, it made my coffee so yummy! I have been on the low carb train, I hope it doesnt make me dump.

I am like you Seaview. I love my half and half and I like lots of it in my coffee. I have tried other things including the ff h&h and didn't like it. I am trying to continue with the low carb - atkins approach which means that I am not worried about the fats but more about the carbs and sugars. If I start to get stuck on my weight loss then of course i will give coffee up rather than drink it w/o cream. Hopefully the atkins approach and following the rules of the pouch will allow me some treats.

Yeah I am not giving up my half and half...it is such a wonderful thing in my coffee and tea and we do not get many really yummy things in our diet so there it is! If I am good about my food in other ways I can maintain just fine...but there is always a trade off..
