Danni, that's great...and we've missed you around here. Good luck with the job.

Aw Liz - I'm sorry... I just keep waiting to feel normal and stop obsessing about my weight, but I guess the may never happen... at least we're playing in a lower range even though it's not as low as we'd like.
Anyways last 147.5 and the same this week.
Saw 146.75 Monday and 149.5 yesterday (I've not weighed any other days)... this DS is a head trip.
BTW do you think adding protein shakes will help with weight loss?

If you don't have peace, it isn't because someone took it from you; you gave it away. You cannot always control what happens to you, but you can control what happens in you John C Maxwell Sleeve 2010 Dr López Corvala, Mexico. DS 2012 Dr Himpens, Belgium

At least you stayed the same from last week to this...too bad you couldn't keep Monday's!
All I know is if I add up my numbers and then do the DS math with it...it comes out to less than 700 calories a day...so I need to add more calories somewhere and the only place I have real wiggle room is protein. I am NOT adding more carbs...I'm at 80-120 FULL carbs (I do NOT count net) per day.
I am fine with carbs, fine with fat (and NOT constipated or suffering oil slicks) but the one that is low range altho in range is protein.

Yes, I'm seriously contemplating protein shakes (never tried one yet and am slightly scared of the gas from milk powder). I hit the top end of my fat eating ability which seems to be ~150g and had a few oil slicks (nothing major, but any more would've meant multiple trips to the bathroom).

Here I come, is there room for 1 more?
4/21/13 191.0
4/28/13 189.5
Had RNY on 4/9 and its hard to get out of the 190, I hope to get below 185 this week but the way the scale is moving it will be next month. I guess so since today is 4/28. I hope 185 doesn't wait till the end of May.
I will keep following my Dr's orders and I am not going to step on the scale again till next Sun.
Welcome, Martha...just follow your surgeon's plan...getting plenty of protein and fluids, esp. It will get there in it's own time. Many of us stair step our way down and others keep a steady loss until they hit goal. But staying off the scale most of the time, esp early on is best.
Also be aware of the three week stall (it happens more times than not) and if you are focusing on how your clothes fit and getting in what you need, it will break and you will get back to losing.

This past week was my stall so I had better not have one this week, please no stall no I am pushing the stall away. I know I shouldn't compare but I can't help it I am in a big hurray because I don't like being here on the heavy side. I can see how my life is improving already and want more of the improvement. Yes, no more scale step aerobics for me till next Sunday. OK I am trying to join the group and my PC is so slow....I guess it needs some B12
Good going, Trish.
