OT-the wedding cake turned out great

I did taste the components using scraps, but a taste was enough. I also had a very small piece at the wedding, but I ate carne asada and chicken first. The cake did taste good, which is nice. I've attended weddings where the cake was beautiful, but was dry, or tasted bad.It has been a long time since I have done a wedding cake so I was a little worried about how it would turn out.

It was a great day overall, the groom is my son's BF, and he spent lots of time at my house when they were growing up. It was an emotional day as you can imagine. And now, a photo of the finished product.

Wow that cake is amazing. Congrats on behaving, I don't know if I'd have done as well.

Great job.  I am lucky that cake isn't one of my things.  I could go forever without another piece of cake.

Looks great!  I'm not a big sweet eater, but sometimes if I get started I can keep on eating it!
