Good Morning. TGIF and your to-do lists
I so need this weekend! We are slowly getting the house back in shape since Son#2 has moved to PA. He clutters as bad as I do... it must be in the genes. Anyway, getting carpets cleaned this afternoon and will be going through even more papers and clothes and junk this weekend. Throwing things out like crazy around here and we sure needed to. What's on your to-do list today and the weekend?

Today just working and exercising this evening with Wii Zumba. Going to use up leftover pork steak and pork roast tonight by making chop suey over rice for the guys and plain for me. (Pork, onion, celery, water chestnuts, soy)
Reading your post, I may be inspired to tackle clearing out this weekend, get some stuff out of my basement that I never use .

Spring cleaning, would love to get my carpets done, but after this whole sewer fiasco the budget got squeezed a little tight. Maybe this summer.
Got to work all weekend, so its yoga at 930, then finish up some housework. Walk Buddy.
Maybe a trip to the store, need to bring my meals and snacks to work and get something for the slow cooker for the boys.
Hope everyone has a great Friday!
Maria
Headed to a driving clinic today and tomorrow. Workday at the farm to put the finishing touches up before the show on Sunday. Next weekend is our first big show.
I'm so glad that I pulled up all the carpet in this house several years ago. No more carpet cleaning, sweep and mop is a ton easier. I still have corners that need to be decluttered but that will have to wait.

Hi Gina!
I had to do the "declutter" thing the last several times I've moved (which have just been in the last year...). Moving again and could probably afford to get rid of some clothes I didn't wear. Not sure how to do that as they're practically brand new. I just buy too much stuff....
Working today. Tomorrow is a community garage sale (think it's at the community center?) I need to pick up a few items for my new apartment (pans, cooking utensils, etc). Nothing big. Will be heading back to MI and bringing back my Durango and trailer and will bring some stuff back with me then. I'm going to do my darndest to make do with what I already have. I think I'll be heading back the first weekend in May and stay for 2 weeks. Head back then move...
After that a motorcycle ride perhaps.
Sunday is the Reston wine festival. May go check that out...
Then... back to work.

Hi Jody,
If you head up to the TC area let me know, I would love to meet up and maybe do a resale shopping trip or just hang out. We usually put our boat in on Starvation Lake (East of Mancelona, MIL's house) so if it is later in the summer we could do a beach day on a weekend. :)

Candy - will do! I don't get up that way now since I moved and all that's there is 2 ex-husbands - lol. I do have some friends left there... and they've been bugging me to come visit. I'll let you know if I can squeeze in a visit when I'm there in May.
I'll definitely be making a trip north in the summer - no place like TC in the summer!

LOL, clutter is terrible here. If the surface is horizontal, it's covered!
We don't have carpets here...well, some area rugs but that is it...sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping tho is also hard work. With carpets, dh does them. He's a much better va****** than I am...I give them a lick and a promise. And he actually LIKES to vacuum. And we collect bunches of dustbunnies!
We have a vet appointment with one of the cats today...just yearly stuff. Nothing is wrong with her except a major case of grumpies. She's almost 11 years old and other than a touch of arthritis, in good health. She's just ALWAYS been a grumpy!
Then this weekend, we have Smoky Mtn Critter Fest. It's an annual event to help one of the No Kill Shelters in the area.

Hey Gina,
Like Jody, I've tossed out and moved so many times that I've got nothing left. The scary thing is that after selling everything and coming to Denver, I still think I have some of those things. I'll hunt around the kitchen for it and finally realize I sold it last summer. Very strange feeling.
So, not much on the to do list. Straightening up mostly. This weekend I'll be with my guy and his daughter.
