Miles and Menus for Roz Wed, April 24, 2013
It was very blustery here but never really rained much. I could have driven but kept waiting for the rain.
Menu looks great. Glad you are back with us.

Thanks Price!
It is so good to be back. I really need the support and accountability. I think I have the carbs finally under control. The hormone thing though is making it rough, but I think I have decarbed! Hurray!
It has been cold and still raining here, even saw some snow for about 30 minutes this evening!

the only one I have seen is the one in the middle of the group that was posted on FB. It is just us going away so you can't see much. Oh well.
My carbquick came today. I am so excited but now I don't have the muffin top pan or heavy cream and the other stuff it says for the biscuits. do you use their recipies?

I will send the link to the one I use when I get to work. I don't know how to do it from my phone.
I do use the muffin top pan but you could just drop them and then flatten them out some . I like mine thinner so I make 9 instead of 6 with the recipe I have.
Here is the link to the recipe I use.
http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/carbquik_cheddar_buns.html
I use 4 ozs of cream cheese (Last time I used the New Greek & Cream cheese mixture it has more protein)
I leave out the onion powder. I use different kinds of cheese and adjust my nutrition count to whatever kind I use. I like it best with the block medium cheddar cheese that I grate, but I have used the bag shredded cheese. I use the bagged parmesan cheese instead of the kind in the can.
Mine are approxmately 3" round and about 1/2" thick after they cook.
I made the ones on the carbquik box, but did not like them
