find an exercise or movement activity that you love and you are more likely to stick to it.

learn to not drink with meals, re-read Jody's article from earlier in the week

take your measurements so even when the scale doesn't move, you can see progress.

There IS a three week stall (or thereabouts...you haven't broken your surgery!

LW's lose differently from HW's. It's not Pounds but Percentages!

While carbs are evil, protein and FLUID are your friends!

So good to hear there is a 3 week stall... I've been ping ponging between 223-225 about a week and it's driving me bonkers. I was afraid I was doing something wrong.

Start weighing and measuring your food.  At first you won't be able to tell when you are full and later it is just a good idea to keep you on track.

Don't be in a hurry to try things to see if you can eat them like sweets and bad carbs.

With RNY - get used to eating without drinking

Try to find something that you can use to log your food like MyFitnessPal, Live Strong, Daily Plate - there are lots of them out there.

Find a movement that you like to do like Price suggested.

Keep up with your vitamins - be sure you understand what you need to take for your type of surgery and make sure you can afford to do this the rest of your life - have your labs done to make sure your are staying in a good range and don't need to make some changes.

I guess mine is more like advice...

Hang around here (contributing helps) or find another means of support from people who know what you're going through.

Stay hydrated!

Love my weekly pill box, helps me stay on track with my vites.

Find something you can do that will help relieve stress, I never thought I would learn how to meditate and fall in love with yoga.

Don't compare yourself to others....

Stay in some sort of support group...online or in person...

Take your vitamins and monitor your labs....this is not something to play around with you....you CAN die from malnourishment/malnutrition.

Remember...this is about health and not a #.

Like the others said....MOVE in some way.

Vent when you struggle....do not hide.

Dont push the food boundaries too fast....you did this for a reason.

If you have food addiction issues....reach out for help, education, etc.  NEVER give up!

Stay on here and keep learning and supporting...

Blessings,

~~Jennifer
