Worst PMS ever, Any suggestions for relief?
I guess I am entering that premenopausal era and my pms is getting really bad, especially the breast tenderness. I have switched to decaf to try to help, but it doesnt seem to make any difference.
I am so bloated and a little irritable. I miss my ibuprofen!
Any suggestions?
And I think I may have had 2 hot flashes one on thursday and one this afternoon. Go figure.

I got the uterine ablation over 10 years ago because of heavy periods and cysts. It didn't stop my periods but significantly reduced them and the PMS.
Now - I'm 54 years old and STILL have my periods. I've been peri-menopausal FOREVER. But - they are still light and pretty much pain free (some months I have bloating, etc - but not like it used to be).
Look into it. Some people stop periods all together with it. I found it a very easy procedure too.

I am struggling with the period blues too except not really with PMS but with heavy, painful periods...unsure what to do but have tried the pill and didnt absorb it correctly (not surprised) and spotted a lot. I do not want IUD as have many allergies and am afraid of having a foreign object in me. I got the patch but it is $40/month...too pricey for me. Am afraid of weight gain with depo.....so struggle on each month. No FUN!!!!
Thinking of you!~!

I hear you. I was anemic and struggling just to keep my counts at hgb 8 hct 25. I ended up having an ablation. It was a same day procedure and didnt have any side effects except for some cramps. Nothing horrible. Now my periods are light and only last about 4 days. Thank goodness insurance covered the procedure.
Good luck! I hope you find some relief.
Getting those rods implanted in your arm are another option - sorry I can't remember what they're called. You get a higher dose of the hormone than you do with an IUD but a bit less than with the shots.
