I have a brilliant idea....but does it make me crazy?
I'm sure you've heard of this concept before...inspiration or dream boards. Essentially, I'd create a poster board full of ideas and concepts and pictures all in support of my goal to lose weight.
Just to start, I'd put up pics of outfits I wish I could fit into, maybe a pic of a skinny bride because I'd like to be thin if my boyfriend and I ever get there. I'd put of inspirational quotes. And surely pics of fit women doing adventurous things.
**** maybe I should put up something about finances and work....no, must stay focused.
What do you think? Am I crazy to try this? ....a board hung up in my kitchen in my tiny apartment?
I REALLY appreciate advice and/or additional ideas. I just feel like my focus on getting well starts from scratch everyday. Maybe having a board will help me jumpstart to the gym or some place where I've already gotten past the guilt and shame.

35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
I did this when I quit smoking. Put up colorful cue cards on the bathroom mirror, on the back of the doors, in my car, at my desk - every where. And each week I put another skicker on each card to show my progress (to myself). It was a possitive reminder (a million times a day) why I was doing this and why it was so important to stay the course.
Great idea.
whatever works, use. If you think it will motivate you, do it. I have several of my big ribbons (multicolored, championship, long streamers) hanging around my office space and home. They are a reminder of what it takes to win those and what I have to do if I want more. Same difference.
