Menus and Miles Tuesday April 9th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!
My lists don't seem to be getting any shorter but our suitcases are practically full. Do you always over pack? I usually try not to but since there isn't going to be a mall on the ship I feel the need to be prepared.
This evening I'm going to get my Protein packed in my carry on. I definitely don't want to forget that!
We are leaving Friday (12th) and returning next Friday (19th) if a few of you could start M&M for me that would be a appreciated!

35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
The ice storm they showed on the news in your area yesterday was crazy! I want to have my house spotless before I leave. Nothing worse than coming home to a messy house after vacation. I hoping DH will at least help me by sweeping the floors.
Good Menu!
Roz

Definitely packing my vitamins. You have to take the bottles too so I guess I will put them in the pill container after we get on the ship.
Sounds good Gina!

I don't think so. I put his meds in with his vitamins in the sorters and put them in our luggage wrapped up in gallon size zip lock bags.

Oh Roz, i hope you have a great time and wonderful weather. It has been beautiful here since Friday.
I had meetings all day but did ok eating. I stopped at a fancy grocery and got chicken salad for lunch and otherwise, had my protein drink. We'll see when I add it all up but I think I did ok. One of my meetings was at the Carl Sandburg estate and the walk up the hill to the house was a good one so I did get some exercise.
