5 year surgiversity
At 5 years out...I am doing good. Who was that obese woman who couldn't run and looks unhappy in picutures? I don't even remember that life. My health is generally good. I see my sisters continuing to be overweight and the toll it is taking on their bodies and health. I continue to take my vits, excerise, and in the last 6 months have started to be a vegetarian. Haven't done my labs yet for this year, that will be next month. I continue to live and learn and enjoy life most of the time. Losing weight, believe it or not, doesn't change all of your life problems.
Wish you all the best!

Oops! I forgot, I don't weigh very often, more focused on how my clothes fit and how I feel. I am around 135, which seems good for me.
congrats Deb..I'm right behind you... I am also tending towards a more vegetarian diet...certainly no more red meat...
my uncle who is 85 and healthy as a horse eats only fruit...vegetables...tofu and nuts...and protein shakes for protein...he has never felt or looked better...So I'm thinkin.....Best wishes to you...SEAVIEW
