Hi Gina, so true, so true.
With my move to a very low calorie diet, I find myself slipping in a few extra calories simply because I can, and because it still keeps me in a low range. But if I'm going to make this lower calorie menu work, I need to stop self sabotaging.
Have a great day.

Good post Gina. I get resentful sometimes as I so struggle to keep this weight off and havent touched sugar, bread, cookies, etc since surgery....two years...NEVER thought I would make it this far but I just keep on keepin on....I feel like I really dont need to know if I can eat these things...but I do struggle with REAL and head hunger and eat often and this concerns me as calories can add up fast. I also need to increase the exercise but am so, so tired after work. I also struggle as I feel guilty with whatever I eat even if it is very healthy and almost always protein focused. Posts like this remind me of what I am doing right to care for me....no judgment with other people's choices...truly.....just a good reminder that with all my worries, I am generally making good, healthy choices.

Very good advice. I will keep this in mind moving forward. Nothing makes me sick any more, so I am much more tempted by bad stuff.
As far as dressing like a hooker, I need to do a bit more of this. lol. My clothes and taste in clothes are purely functional. I'm still wearing most of the work clothes I wore when I was 60 lbs heavier. I need to dig through my closets and pull out stuff more form fitting, brighter colors, nicer stuff. Stuff without elastic in the waste. I need to go get some new make up. I have not paid any attention to this stuff when I became so heavy.
So hopefully those who dress for the oldest profession can give me some tips.
