Sunday Weigh In

And it's a heck of a ride too! Good for you.

I usually weigh on Wednesdays, but I was anxious to see if my increased effort after a bad Easter weekend was paying off.  Yes, it is!!

YES, it is! Good going.

I was in Vegas on Sunday so no weigh-in. But today I was 124. And last week I was confused but when I went back to record my weights in my program, I was 124 as I said the first time, not 123. (I was 123 on Monday though but it didn't last).

Sorry it didn't last. Hope you didn't lose too much money in Vegas! And had fun as well.

I didn't gamble. Or drink. I know.

Went to see Jersey  Boys which was fab. And The Rat Pack is Back. Which was not.

Not sure how the Rat Pack can be back as several members have long since died!

• Peter Lawford died on December 24, 1984, of cardiac arrest complicated by kidney and liver failure at the age of 61.
• Sammy Davis, Jr. died at the age of 64 on May 16, 1990, of complications from throat cancer.
• Dean Martin died at home on Christmas morning, December 25, 1995, aged 78.
• Frank Sinatra died on May 14, 1998, at the age of 82.
• Joey Bishop, the last surviving and longest-lived (89) Rat Pack member, died on October 17, 2007.

There may be a newer version but for some...that is the one & only Rat Pack.

Then again, I don't know much about the Jersey Boys either.

I don't drink or gamble...altho I did spend $20 the one and only time we were in Vegas.

It would have actually been an interesting show if the dead ones had been there. Zombie Rat Packers!

It was a tribute show. They were recreating the famous shows that the four of them who were in Oceans 11 did when they made that movie in Vegas and then did a nightly show at the Sands for the VIPs who were in Vegas at the time.

The Dean Martin impersonator looked like Dean Martin... if Dean Martin was really, really short.

The Frank Sinatra one had the best voice but he was really nerdy looking and Frank was a heart throb.

The Sammy Davis Jr. impersonator made me want to kick him in the balls, he was so bad. He didn't capture Sammy's personality AT ALL.

The Joey one, eh, never was a fan of that kind of humor so who knows if he was any good. But he didn't seem to have much personality which didn't seem right.

Anyway, I came in with low expectations and ... they were not met.

And Jersey Boys is a Broadway musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. So lots of music from the 60s and their story was actually pretty interesting and the singing was pretty good too.
