x-post, need advice and input, is this a crazy idea?

I love to ski, but I wouldn't say I do it well. I am a green run girl. I have skied in my own area (Southern California) and it isn't really good. I have also skied Southern Utah, Colorado (my favorite), and Montana. I grew up near Lake Tahoe, but didn't learn to ski until we were on vacation in Colorado. It wasn't on the agenda, but it had been snowing, and the Loveland ski area offers a really  good deal on a lesson, lift, and rental for beginners. I've been hooked ever since. However, this year it was much easier now that we are both much lighter. I think it will be great for you to give it another try.

I'm not sure if we will get a Colorado trip in next winter, it will depend on if we find teaching jobs for the upcoming school year, but if we do, it would be great to meet on a mountain.
