Back on track...for the most part
I'm pretty much back on track after the Easter Candy Debacle of 2013.
When I say for the most part and pretty much, its because I didn't track my food, I just ate what made sense. At the end of the day though, I was curious about how I did. The good news is that I did well.
Talking to my doc though, it seems I'm going to have to drop my calorie intake if I want to see real weight loss. It's primarily due to the many medications I'm on. And it makes sense, the only real time I've lost weight in the last several months was when I was deeply depressed (woo hoo!!! bipolar). I lost 20 lbs because I was too depressed to eat.
So, we'll just have to see if I can do it. Right now I'm hovering around 1200 calories. Not sure what the magic number will be.

35 pounds of regain!!! 30 lost!!! Just a little more to go.
the hard reality of losing this late in the game (I am right there with you) is that because we are smaller than we were, we need a lot less to maintain but less to lose. I seem to be losing very slowly at around 1200 but I also do muscle pump 2x a week, Zumba a time or 2 and all my farm/pony stuff. that is alway staying pretty low carb, like under 50, most days around 30 net. We are all different but I would think your options are reduce calories or increase exercise. It's a tough reality.

I had one day last week that was 846 but that wasn't on purpose. I remember thinking I was really hungry and I guess I had missed a meal or had a really small one. My totals for the last week were 1276, 846, 1126, 1261, 1204, 1057. Net carbs from 16-45. protein 143-194. and I lost 1 lb if it holds over the last 2 weeks. I'm pretty comfortable with this routine as long as I am home and can control everything. But this week I am going to be gone several days and miss a few exercise classes, so we will see.

Glad you are back on track Lauren!!
I'm with Price on this that now we have to eat less and exercise more to see results. I am staying around 1200 calories and trying to stay below 50 carbs and adding in some exercise. I am losing some, but don't have the medications to hinder the weight loss that you do.
Hang in there, you can do this.

I had 860 Saturday but that was not on purpose. I got busy and didn't eat supper. I want to stay between 1100 and 1200. Yesterday when I walked 2.9 miles myfitnesspal said I had a net of 998. I had 1219 calories but exercise was 221. I am keeping up with my calories just because it does it for me. I'm mostly concentrating on protein and really watching the bad carbs.
There is no telling what I had actually gotten up to eating before I started tracking again a couple of weeks ago. I was eating a lot of calories at night. I won't lie, it is really hard now because I have always been an emotional eater. Sometimes I can just get up and brush my teeth and it helps me not to eat at night. Other times I just have to go on to bed!!
