Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!

WOW....Another holiday is over for 2013 already.  I did pretty good with my eating yesterday how about you?  DD and I are going shopping after work for our cruise next week.  She had a baby in Jan. and the clothes she just bought a couple of weeks ago are too big already.  Thank goodness she left the tags on them and kept the receipts.

Took Max to the vet for a recheck after his big hospital event last week.  He has returned to normal (for an old dog with congestive heart failure) and is doing fine.  Hurray.

Driving Halley this afternoon then off to Muscle Pump.

I'm so glad Max is feeling better.  I was missing my bird so much this morning and it's been months since he passed on to birdy heaven. I had one of those odd moments when I felt like I had forgotten to feed him and then I remembered he was gone.

I have giggly arms is muscle pump helping?

I'm guessing your totals are pretty good!

I am getting some really nice muscles and depending on where you are looking from, my arms look pretty good.  Neck, shoulders, etc look good.  But when I lift my arms and that extra skin is just hanging off, oh dear.  Everyone in class wears all this cute workout stuff that shows more than a swimsuit almost and although I do wear tank tops occasionally, my arms look awful.  I wish I wasn't self concious about it but am.  At the same time, I am probably the oldest or at least one of the oldest folks in there and I can do just about everything anyone else can do.  So I feel really good about that.

I didn't do too good yesterday, but back on track today! 

I love to shop now.  I have had to make myself stay out of the stores for a little while - one trip a month is all I am allowed.  My closet is full again and I emptied it after WLS!!

I went crazy during the losing stage and then I bought some nice things after I my weight settled where it is now.  I've found that my body looks a lot better in nicer clothing so my budget does not allow much room for spending.

DD#1 and I have been shopping the last couple of weeks for our cruise and I guess I'm pickier than I used to be because I haven't bought very many things.  I did buy a pair of white shorts and I haven't owned any white pants since I was dating.  I still remember the outfit.  White shorts and a very sheer navy and white polka dotted top.  I even remember where I wore it too.  Being the Good Christian girl that I was, I look back and wonder what I was thinking and why did my mother let me leave the house dressed like that....LOL.
